How is the Bybit fee calculated?
The result is calculated using the following formula:
One-way Fee = Trade Value × Applied Fee Rate Round-trip Fee = One-way Fee × 2
- Applied fee rate = VIP tier maker/taker rate, adjusted for USDT rebate when enabled
- Spot base: Maker 0.10%, Taker 0.10%
- Perpetual base: Maker 0.02%, Taker 0.055%
- Optional USDT rebate toggle applies a 10% haircut on spot and perpetual in this model
- Round-trip assumes the same trade value and fee rate on entry and exit
- Fee rates can change. Verify your current Bybit fee tier before trading.

Example Calculation
Base-tier perpetual taker on a $20,000 notional:
- 1. Taker rate 0.055% → one-way fee = $11
- 2. Round-trip fee = $11 × 2 = $22
- 3. With the 10% rebate toggle: one-way fee = $9.90, round-trip = $19.80
- 4. Rebate savings = $1.10 on the one-way fee
The same ticket as a maker at 0.02% is $4 one-way ($8 round-trip) before any rebate.
