Compound Growth Summary
Final amount
₹5,16,368.85
Assumes a constant annual return. Crypto staking and yield rates can change and are not guaranteed.
How is compound interest calculated?
The result is calculated using the following formula:
A = P × (1 + r/n)^(n×t) + Contribution × [((1 + r/n)^(n×t) − 1) / (r/n)]
- P = principal, r = annual rate, n = compounds per year, t = years
- Contribution is deposited once per compounding period
- Total Contributed = P + (Contribution × n × t)
- Total Interest Earned = A − Total Contributed; Effective Return = Interest / Total Contributed × 100
- This assumes a constant return rate — real crypto staking/yield APRs fluctuate and are not guaranteed.
- For scheduled coin buys use the DCA Calculator.
Example Calculation
₹1,00,000 at 10% for 2 years, yearly compounding, no extra deposits:
- 1. A = 1,00,000 × (1.10)^2 = ₹1,21,000
- 2. Total contributed stays ₹1,00,000
- 3. Interest earned = ₹21,000
- 4. Effective Return = 21%
Add a ₹5,000 contribution each month at 8% and the deposit schedule usually outweighs the compounding frequency debate.
